IQOS ILUMA i Standard Black

IQOS ILUMA i Standard Black refers to the standard IQOS ILUMA i system in Midnight Black, the colour name IQOS uses in its UAE range. The device combines a separate Holder and Pocket Charger with touchscreen controls and adjustable battery modes.

Touch Screen and AutoStart

The Holder’s Touch Screen shows preheating progress, remaining session time and available uses. It also indicates whether Pause Mode is available.

AutoStart detects a compatible stick and begins preheating automatically when the feature is enabled. The screen displays heating progress, while the device uses vibration and visual indicators to communicate its status.

Pause Mode and FlexPuff

Pause Mode allows an eligible session to pause for up to eight minutes. It works in Performance Mode, within the first three minutes or eight puffs, and applies once during either the first or second consecutive use. The Holder switches off if the session does not resume within eight minutes.

FlexPuff automatically assesses usage and may provide up to four additional puffs within the six-minute session limit. It does not guarantee extra puffs for every user or session. FlexPuff does not activate during a session that uses Pause Mode.

FlexBattery and Consecutive Uses

FlexBattery provides two Holder battery settings through the IQOS App.

Performance Mode is the default setting. It supports up to three consecutive uses without Pause Mode. When a session uses Pause Mode, the Holder supports two consecutive uses, with one pause available during one of them.

Eco Mode limits the Holder to one use per charge and disables Pause Mode. These limits describe the Holder’s capacity between charges, rather than the total capacity of the Pocket Charger.

IQOS ILUMA i vs IQOS ILUMA i ONE

IQOS ILUMA i uses a separate Holder and Pocket Charger and combines those functions in a single unit.

The distinction also affects charging: the standard model’s Holder returns to its Pocket Charger when it needs power, while ONE uses an integrated battery. IQOS lists up to 20 consecutive uses for ONE; the standard model’s Holder follows the battery-mode conditions described above.

Heating System and Stick Compatibility

The SMARTCORE INDUCTION Heating SYSTEM heats the metal element inside a compatible TEREA stick. The Holder does not use the exposed heating blade found in earlier IQOS generations.

IQOS UAE specifies TEREA SMARTCORE STICKS for this model. HEETS do not work with IQOS ILUMA i Devices. Do not insert unsupported consumables or attempt to adapt sticks from another heating system.

Care and Storage

Follow the manufacturer’s care instructions for both components.

• Keep the Holder and Pocket Charger dry.
• Protect them from drops, excessive heat and moisture.
• Keep charging contacts clean and use compatible charging equipment.
• Do not dismantle the device or force objects into the Holder.

Important Safety Information

Using this device with tobacco sticks carries health risks and delivers addictive nicotine. For adults only. Keep the device and sticks away from children and pets. Never swallow or dismantle SMARTCORE sticks: they contain a sharp metal component.
